Haiku

You can't have a website with writing exercises without the task of writing a haiku.

A haiku contains seventeen syllables divided into three lines.

Five syllables on the first line. Seven syllables on the second line. Five syllables on the third line.

Syllables are the same as the number of vowels (a, e, i, o, u, y) that are pronounced.

A classic haiku contains something that suggests what season it is.

The third line should surprise in some way, or create a contrast to the first two lines.
