Your proverb

There are lots of proverbs. But you can never have too much of a good thing.

Your task is to come up with a new proverb. It can have a serious message or be pure nonsense, you choose.

Here are some examples of existing proverbs.

Better late than never

Flies don't enter a closed mouth

Still waters run deep

Home is where the heart is

Old love never rusts
(in Swedish: Gammal kärlek rostar aldrig)

Better threadless than clueless
(in Swedish: Hellre trådlös än rådlös)

A tree begins with a seed
(in Arabic: أول الشجرة بذرة)

The wisest is the one who can forgive
(in Arabic: أعقل الناس أعذرهم للناس)

One person's death is another's bread
(in Swedish: Den enes död, den andres bröd)

A funnier version of the last proverb: One ate beans, the other had a bloated stomach
(in Riffian: ijj itett ibawen ijj tuffen ges)
