I've read that a gratitude journal helps make you happy. Writing exercises can also make you feel good. So why not combine them.
I hope you have people around you that you are grateful for. And maybe a pet. But in this exercise, we will focus on the non-living.
Choose three objects or phenomenons that you are grateful for. They should be:
Something big
Something small
Something blue
If you feel like it, write down why you are grateful for these particular things. But that is not the writing exercise.
Instead, you should write a gratitude journal for the three things you listed. All three are grateful for your existence, and your task is to describe why.
