More or less vague

Some things are concrete and we agree on how to define them. For example, liters, miles, grams and ascorbic acid.

Other things are more diffuse and everyone has a slightly different idea of what they mean. For example, love, friendship and masculinity.

Your task is to write about three diffuse phenomena as if they were concrete and well-defined.

Variation

The variation on this exercise is not that surprising.

Write about three concrete things as if they were diffuse and difficult to define.

The form is up to you

The text can be in any form you like. Prose, poetry, postcard, meeting protocol, checklist, chat, newspaper article or anything else.

If you don't want to pick the form yourself, I suggest that you write a love letter.
