Like humans do
The sun is shining. The clock is ticking. The car is standing still.
But the sun might also laugh. Maybe the clock has a beating pulse. And the car might grimace as it idles, waiting for a passenger who never comes.
Laughing, having a heart, and grimacing are things we associate with humans. Describing non-living things as if they were alive is called personification.
Your task is to write a text that contains at least three examples of personification.
