See the beauty

Choose an object around you. It can be a football, a pen, a plant or anything. A good idea is to use the same object as in the first description exercise

Imagine that you think that the object is really beutiful, the most stunning thing you have seen.

Descibe the object with as much details as possible. Let the reader feel how wonderful the object is.

Challenge

Try not to just adjectives such as "beautiful", "nice", "pretty" and so on. Make the reader understand the beauty of the object without using the obvious words.

Next step

Did you like to see the beauty of an object. Try to do the opposite in the ugly exercise.

The form is up to you

The text can be in any form you like. Prose, poetry, postcard, meeting protocol, checklist, chat, newspaper article or anything else.

If you don't want to pick the form yourself, I suggest that you write a really short story.

3 minutes
